[[politics:personalities:carl-benjamin|Carl]] and [[politics:personalities:callum|Callum]] go over the good news regarding the Omicron variant. So far, there are zero deaths from it according to their reporting (citing the WHO). Also, in South Africa the children that have it are going to the hospital as a policy/abundance of caution measure. It doesn't seem that children are having severe symptoms. Given that this variant is highly infectious but the symptoms are mild, this is being described by some healthcare professionals as a natural vaccine.
